At the heart of our work is a deep commitment to supporting families. Our comprehensive Family Support encompasses programs that begin with maternal health, offering crucial care and connection for mothers and their newborns. Beyond this, our church and community support provides a vital network of emotional and spiritual strength, working to build resilient families and a unified community.

Martenal Health

Our Trenance Mums and Babies program provides expectant mothers with access to antenatal care, safe delivery packs, and baby welcome packs. Through our support groups, mothers build a strong sisterhood, offering each other encouragement during pregnancy and early motherhood.

After birth, mothers transition into our Mums and Newborns group, where they receive continued support in nurturing their babies and developing their parenting skills.

For mothers with toddlers aged 2 and 3, we run a Mums and Tots program focused on play-based learning. This prepares children for ECD while strengthening the parent-child bond.

Church and Community Support

TLZ is home to Thembalezizwe Christian Church, which ministers to families by providing emotional and spiritual support. Through discipleship programs and community engagement, the church plays a key role in strengthening family structures and fostering unity within the community.
